How Fabco-Air Cut Machining Time by Over 60% with the Eurotech Stallion
One part. Six operations. More than 35 minutes of machining and handling.
For Fabco-Air, that was the process for producing an approximately six-inch-diameter aluminum air cylinder.
Then came the Eurotech B750 Stallion.

The same component is now machined complete in a single operation in under 13 minutes—eliminating five operations and cutting cycle time by more than 60%.
35+ MINUTES → UNDER 13 MINUTES
6 OPERATIONS → 1 OPERATION
5 OPERATIONS ELIMINATED
Built Around Automation
Fabco-Air manufactures advanced pneumatic products including cylinders, rotary actuators, slides, grippers and valves. Its commitment to automation and technology even earned the company a feature on World’s Greatest!, filmed inside its 61,000-square-foot facility.
As a longtime Eurotech customer, Fabco-Air turned to the B750 Stallion when it needed a more efficient way to produce a demanding aluminum air-cylinder application.
From Six Operations to One
Previously, the 6061 aluminum component required six separate operations and more than 35 minutes of machining and handling.
With the Stallion, Fabco-Air was able to machine the part complete in one operation in under 13 minutes. All 16 turret stations were utilized for the application, resulting in a 62% faster process and five operations eliminated.
Eight Eurotechs and Counting

The Stallion was Fabco-Air's eighth Eurotech machine, so the team was already familiar with the platform and able to get the new application running quickly.
“Previously the same part took six different operations totaling over 35 minutes in machining and handling. Now the same part is done in one operation in just under 13 minutes complete!”
— Chris Kazimier, Fabco-Air
More Than a Faster Cycle
Fabco-Air's results demonstrate what process consolidation can mean on the shop floor: less handling, fewer operations, shorter cycle times and more productive use of every machine hour.
62% faster. Five operations eliminated. One complete part in under 13 minutes.
That’s more than a faster machine.
That’s a better manufacturing process.
