President and founder Jeff Roth is a firm believer in capital-intense business and has cultivated and trained his shop to run unattended, giving him an exclusive advantage and allowing him to offer big savings to his customers.
Chasco Machine has manufactured some of the most complex parts for aircraft controls and fuel systems meeting the demanding tolerance levels. By using the most advanced multi axis machines, parts can be processed on the same system, resulting in absolute consistent quality. Automatic loading of raw material keeps productivity consistent and free of high labor costs. All prints and specifications are computer processed and automatically downloaded to the applicable CNC system. With their lights out innovations, they have developed a process that allows productivity 24 hours a day, resulting in substantial savings to customers.

“Up-time of spindles is key. We’ve developed a formula and plan on how to keep our machines running 24/7. I promote from within and take advantage of Eurotech’s Free Lifetime Training. All my employees are trained and can use the Eurotechs. I call it soft money; a lot of shop owners don’t realize how much time is wasted on their machines and how much money is spent on tooling. With the Eurotechs, the tooling is interchangeable (a big savings) and the programs interchange (another huge savings). All of this helps us utilize every hour of every day.”
The following is an example of what Lights Out Innovations can do over a holiday weekend. This took place over Thanksgiving, 2007 at Chasco Machine and Manufacturing, starting on Wednesday at 11 AM running through Monday at 6:30 AM. Each machine had 114 hours available during the holiday weekend.
